SPLIT WORKS GE

This is not just an N+1 bike project – it's about creating the ultimate traveling bike. When Gerolf and Arne got in touch about it in the middle of winter, I was really excited. It's a top-of-the-line, fully working bike packing machine that you can split in half quickly and safely using frame couplings. This opens up new horizons for the two of them and will hopefully lead to many exciting adventures. I reckon we'll be seeing this combo in loads of places. Ride in Pieces!

We've got the full kit from Paragon Machine Works including dropouts, thru axles, head tubes and z-couplers. Tubing is a mixture of Columbus ZONA and LIFE. The brake line runs internally and is fitted with special hydraulic couplers from ZENO. This travel machine weighs exactly 10.0 kg when fully equipped.
